Melanie Albrecht

She is a founding member of the Leipzig theatre and performance collective friendly fire, working within its framework and in collaborations (including Studio Urbanistan) as a performer and artistic production manager. She studied Theatre Studies, German Studies and Philosophy (University of Leipzig) as well as Art History and Film Studies (University of Dublin/Ireland). Together with Michael Wehren she is the editor of the publication Verortungen/Entortungen: Urbane Klangräume (Neofelis Verlag, 2016) and received a working scholarship from the Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen in 2019.
