Anna Ptak
A curator of artistic research projects interested in the ecological and political dimension of cultural practices. Ptak edited a volume Amplifying Nature. The Planetary Imagination of Architecture in the Anthropocene and curated eponymous exhibition for the Polish Pavilion at 16th Venice Architecture Biennale (2018), she curated (performative) exhibitions with/by Maja Bekan, hyslom, Bureau of Melodramatic Research, kurz/dust/ghobar (2015, co-curator: Amanda Abi Khalil) among others, and experimented with vernacular urbanism formats i.e. The Make Yourself at Home Guide to Warsaw (2015, with Rani Al Rajji and Monnik collective), Blue Box. Five Pieces on a Background (2016, Izolyatsia, Kyiv). Currently she is a PhD candidate in social anthropology at Warsaw University and works as a curator at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw.
