Ewa Smuk-Stratenwerth

Biologist and anthropologist by training. Ewa also completed post-graduate studies in philosophy in Prof. Michał Heller’s class, in the Religion and Science programme. She founded and runs Ecological Folk High School in Grzybów. Co-founder and director of the ecological and cultural association ZIARNO. For 20 years, together with her husband Peter, she has been running an ecological farm with a bio-bakery and cheese-making. One of the initiators of the nation-wide action “Rodzić po ludzku” (Childbirth with Dignity). Member of Ashoka – Innovators for the Public Good.
