Joanna Synowiec
Curator, cultural animator, creator, and member of the Nomada Association and MAP (Mothers – Artists – Precarians) collective. Currently, together with Dominika Łabądź she is developing studio-publishing house “Dzikie przyjemności” (“Wild pleasures”) where they create art and literary publications. She collaborated with numerous galleries: BWA Wrocław, BWA Tarnów, MWW Wrocław. She works in the broad field of art and social space. She co-curated such exhibitions as “Tajsa” – about the situation of the Roma people in Europe, and “Common part – social archive” about independent activities in Wrocław in the last 20 years. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (in 2015 and 2020), within her 2020 scholarship she is creating the visual-literary essay in the form of an art book titled “Everything in my hands” focused on maternity.
