Jan Tomza-Osiecki
(b. 1985) visual artist, researcher and composer. He writes music for theatre and interactive sound sculptures. Graduate of MA Artistic Research at Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in the Hague (NL), and the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He studied music production at the SAE Institute School of Audio Engineering (UK). His compositions are featured in presentations staged in Poland and worldwide: European Songs (dir. M. Kozłowska) at Belluard Bollwerk Festival in Switzerland, Drift (dir. M. Nergiz) at Popkultur Festival in Berlin, What it is to be a crowd (dir. M. Kozłowska) in the Frascati Theatre, Amsterdam, Jezus (dir. J. Piaskowski) in Nowy Teatr, Warsaw, Puppenhaus.Kuracja (dir. J. Piaskowski) inTR Warszawa. He lives and works in Amsterdam.
