Magdalena Bartnik

Magda obtained her masters in Jewish Studies at the Jagiellonian University and in Cultural Studies at the University College London. She is an expert in addiction psychotherapy and certified HIV/AIDS consultant. Magda is a member of the European AIDS Treatment Group, Polish Addiction Research Association, and expert consultant for the Stop Overdose Now Foundation. As a harm reduction and harm prevention specialist, she conducts research and does hands-on work with people who use drugs. Magda participated in many international trainings in the field of public health, human rights and drug policy (e.g. she was an Open Society fellow at the Human Rights and Drug Policy in Central European University in Budapest and participant of the Evidence-Based Drug Policy at the Polish Academy of Sciences).
