Abderrahim Kassou

Abderrahim KASSOU, architect and urban planner graduated from the School of Architecture of Paris la Villette, he has also a degree in anthropology from Paris VIII Saint Denis University and in geography from François Rabelais University in Tours. Based in Casablanca, he is practicing as an architect since 1999 and worked on different programs as housing, cultural amenities, urban design, rehabilitation of heritage… M.Kassou is teacher at the school of architecture in Casablanca, and also president of FMAS (Moroccan Forum of Alternatives), a Moroccan ngo involved in topics such as democracy, human right, freedom of expression… M. Kassou is also a former member of the National Council of Human Rights in Morocco and the former president of Casamemoire, an ngo involved in heritage preservation.
