Noora Oertel

She is a master student at the Institute for European Ethnology of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her interests lie in performance studies, as well as gender- queer studies. In her master thesis she studies artistic confrontations with/and perspectives on temporality in the context of HIV/AIDS related performative art works in Germany. Apart from her research Noora also works as a modern and contemporary dance teacher in Berlin. She was assisting the exhibition of the research project Disentangling European HIV/AIDS Policies: Activism, Citizenship and Health (EUROPACH) in the field of performative HIV/AIDS related artworks in Germany.
