Marta Romankiv

Born in 1995 in Lviv. Interdisciplinary artist, creator of installations, video art and social situations. Romankiv graduated from the faculty of artistic ceramics at the Lviv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art and Media at the Pedagogical University in Krakow and currently attends the Art Academy of Szczecin. Romankiv is interested in all sorts of minorities, especially in connection with the question of nationality, citizenship and related social inequalities, identity issues and legal problems. By treating the language of art as a tool for crossing established borders, she strives to exceed the traditional role of the artist. She lives and works in Poland.
