Kinga Kurysia

Graduate of cultural studies at the Institute of Polish Culture, University of Warsaw (specialization in visual culture) and student of a master’s programme in sociology at the College of Interdepartmental Individual Studies in the Humanities, University of Warsaw. Her research interests revolve around economic sociology, visual politics of numbers and neoliberal culture. Substantive consultant for the work “Debt Counter” by Łukasz Surowiec presented at the exhibition Warsaw Under Construction 11: Monumentomania in the Museum of modern Art in Warsaw. Her texts appeared in e.g. “Czas Kultury,” “Didaskalia,” and “Dialog.”
