Tomasz Szerszeń

Visual artist and cultural anthropologist. He authored the books Podróżnicy bez mapy i paszportu (Travelers without Maps or Passports; 2015) and Architektura przetrwania (Architectures of Survival; 2017). He is editor of the Konteksty quarterly, and co-founder of the journal Widok. Teorie i praktyki kultury wizualnej, senior lecturer at the Polish Academy of Sciences Institute of Arts. His art projects were exhibited in such venues as Archeology of Photography Foundation in Warsaw, Museum of Arts in Łódź, Asymetria Gallery in Warsaw, A. Mickiewicz Museum in Istanbul, Indie Photography Gallery in Tel Aviv and Paris Photo. He was curator of the exhibition What Is Enlightenment? at  Warsaw Modern Art Museum (2018).
