(Ukraine) Multidisciplinary artist, performer, designer. Space as the absence and presence of lines. Svitlana Vlasova constructs, reconstructs and deconstructs the surrounding, signs and shapes through the line. The motion from the idea to the image; the moment, when a verbal structure acquires its’ material manifestation; the evaluation of the associative and symbolic sequence as the key spheres of individual practices. The biography of a person may be identical to the search of expressing forms or not. However, the complex of memories /impressions/associations direct to the specific visual-speech searches. The process of creating or demonstrating of the work fixes that now the author is not a narrator, but rather is an accomplice of the viewer in the reflexive-contemplative gesture. The retranslation of the heavy or light constructions, complexes of forms or single elements is often a provocation for escalation of the flow of consciousness, the result of which provides the unpredictability and spontaneity. The local geography and landscape, impression from specific people and things come from the individual level to the general one, always accenting the closeness.
