The change whose harbingers we can observe in the contemporary world concerns the formula of education and academia as well. After all, can their traditional models, originating from the 19th century, be still effective today, can they aptly introduce us into the 21st century world and allow us to shape it? Is it possible—and how—to practice humanities (and more broadly – science) outside of institutionalised structures? How knowledge and education outside of the school and university come to be? These issues will be discussed during the seminar.
