Leaving your camera and microphone on will be considered a permission to use your image impliedly. We encourage everyone to join the discussion.

In her latest books, Silvia Federici asks how to organise communal reproduction of society, she opposes the commodification of body and nature, and strikes at the fetish of technological progress. She also criticises liberal feminism which promotes the vision of freedom, individualism, and body alarmingly convergent with the logic of capital. Federici argues that facing the ecological crisis and care crisis efficiently will require “re-enchanting the world”: finding values and practices of cooperation that will constitute an alternative to universal commodification, caused by rampant capitalism.

In the context of current protests against the repressive anti-abortion laws and vivid development of feminist initiatives in Poland, Silvia Federici’s lecture could possibly indicate possible directions and strategies of action.

The meeting will be held in English, without interpreting. It will be streamed on our Facebook channel.
