The Experience-based Toolkit – On the Sex Workers’ Project

A meeting with activists from the Informal Sex Workers’ Collective, authors of the “Experience-based Toolkit - How to Do Sex Work in a Safe, Informed and Satisfactory Way”

The Experience-based Toolkit – How to Do Sex Work in a Safe, Informed and Satisfactory Way  is a book that emerged from conversations between sex workers working in brothels, on the streets, in erotic massage salons, stript clubs or privately. The toolkit describes the specificities of working in different venues and explores the ways in which sex workers secure safety and working conditions, take better care of their sexual and mental health, and it unpacks the legal context of sex work in Poland.

During the meeting, members of the Informal Sex Workers’ Collective will explain how the book was created, discuss topics covered in the Experience-based Toolkit and the goals of this project. This meeting will offer a space for sex workers’ voices, allow for networking within the sex workers community, and enable knowledge and experience sharing that could help to improve working conditions in different sectors of the sex work industry.

Moderation: Agata Dziuban, Justyna Struzik (EUROPACH, UJ).
